Responsibilities

Contribute to developing data management standards, requirements, and specifications

Develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database

Defined, designed, built dimensional databases, data warehousing blueprints, evaluating hardware and software platforms, and integrating systems

Review and develop object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access

Required

Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance

Technical Training in Data Design or Database Architecture or Metadata Management Platforms

Experience: Eighteen (18) years of hands-on experience architecting software solutions for IT projects

Five years' experience designing and building relational databases in a data warehouse environment, which includes data design, database architecture, and metadata repository creation

Five years' experience performing data access analysis design, and archive/recovery design and implementation

Significant experience in data engineering, data pipeline development, and database management

Security+ certification
