Senior LevelHopper is on a mission to become the leading travel platform globally, and they are seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to help build a world-class travel portal. The role involves working with a cross-functional team to deliver quality results quickly and efficiently, focusing on API and full-stack solutions.

Responsibilities
Design, build and operate API and full-stack solutions
Operate autonomously but work closely with your fellow engineers as well as designer/PM to ensure high alignment
Explore engineering improvements for the team and the product
Collaborate cross-functionally with the product team, other Hopper teams and external partner teams
Our group operates with very few meetings and emphasizes strong alignment and asynchronous decision making
Qualification
Required
Experience with, or a willingness to learn, distributed system development in Scala
Strong product thinking: their conception of quality is anchored in the customer
A natural drive to fearlessly deep dive into an unknown code base while keeping their eyes on the goal to deliver results fast
