Responsibilities
Perform structural analysis and design for commercial building projects using steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood systems
Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents in compliance with IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC, and other applicable standards
Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and clients throughout all project phases
Assist with feasibility studies, and value engineering as needed
Conduct site visits and inspections to confirm existing conditions and observe construction progress
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
6 - 10+ years of commercial building design experience
Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (ETABS, RISA, SAP2000, RAM, or similar)
Working knowledge of Revit
Solid understanding of building codes, construction materials, and methods
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
