Responsibilities
Set team and individual goals aligned with business objectives
Drive quoting and costing strategies, leveraging AI and advanced tools for accuracy and efficiency
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance speed and precision
Partner with sales teams and clients during pre-sale activities
Develop formal proposals that highlight technical compliance and customer benefits
Act as a liaison between clients and operations to ensure seamless project execution
Provide deep product and application knowledge to internal teams and customers
Review designs for compliance with specifications and safety standards
Collaborate with R&D and design engineering to resolve technical challenges
Qualification
Required
Electrical Engineering degree (ABET accredited)
5+ years in applications engineering for 3-phase industrial equipment, ideally with industrial UPS products
Proven leadership experience and ability to communicate effectively with executives, clients, and teams
Strong project management, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills
Preferred
MBA and/or Professional Engineer (PE) license
Knowledge of industrial batteries, rectifiers, inverters, and voltage regulators
Familiarity with NEC, UL, and other electrical codes
Experience with EPC projects and contract review
