Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and implement injection molding processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and elevate quality

Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize scrap and downtime

Lead process improvements using lean and Six Sigma methodologies

Support the design, evaluation, and optimization of molds, tooling, and fixtures for new and existing products

Conduct mold trials, capability studies, and process validations

Provide guidance on resin selection, material behavior, and testing

Partner with R&D and production teams to evaluate new materials and support performance improvements

Integrate automation solutions—robotics, conveyors, vision systems, etc.—into molding operations

Utilize data analytics and emerging technologies (Industry 4.0) to enhance consistency and efficiency

Work closely with Product Development, Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams

Lead training for technicians and operators on processes, troubleshooting, and new technologies

Maintain accurate process documentation, work instructions, and risk assessments

Prepare technical reports, performance updates, and improvement recommendations
