Responsibilities
Performs software product testing and investigates possible causes of problems
Performs manual testing as stop-gap for automated testing
Develops functional, end-to-end, regression, and performance tests in automated test environments
Detects and writes software bug reports and feature requests
Understands, reproduces, troubleshoots product defects and works with developers to determine the best resolution
Assists in the planning and implementation of testing new features
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of practical experience in software testing and Quality Assurance
Minimum of 2 years of experience with automated testing and automation frameworks: pytest(Python), unittest(Python), Ansible
Minimum of 1 year of experience using Git, Jenkins, and various Continuous Integration tools
Minimum of 1 year of experience with Linux OS
Active TS/SCI w. Polygraph
Preferred
Familiarity with Java and/or Go and basic debugging
Experience with basic database technologies and software
Solid grasp of technical writing and documentation in relation to software development
Familiarity with Docker and technologies around scalable infrastructure, such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience refining low-level testing scripts using Bash, Python, Ansible, etc
Experience working in an AGILE development environment
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Possess a passion for learning new technologies and staying up-to-date with industry trends
Understanding of the Intelligence Community customers and their priorities
