Responsibilities
Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept through completion
Supervise project teams (engineers, BIM designers) and ensure successful project execution
Work closely with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver cost-effective, innovative solutions
Ensure compliance with building codes, seismic regulations, and industry standards
Conduct technical design and detailing for large-scale structures
Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
Maintain strong client relationships and actively pursue new business opportunities
Qualification
Required
Minimum 8 years of structural engineering experience (as close as possible)
SE License: Required
Master's degree or higher in Structural Engineering (U.S. university required)
Experience in Type I construction (steel and concrete structures)
Experience with ground-up construction (60-70%) and renovations (30-40%)
Familiarity with Mission Critical Facilities
Proven ability to manage large-scale structural projects
Ability to act as a strong, decisive leader and manage a team of engineers and designers
Demonstrated track record of delivering successful projects and maintaining client relationships
Preferred
Experience working with DSA and HCAI/OSHPD
Experience in seismic evaluation and retrofit of existing buildings using ASCE 41
