Compliance Associate
Cardea Group is a leading private equity firm with over $5B in assets under management, seeking a Compliance Analyst or Associate to join their team in New York City. The role involves supporting the compliance program administration and working closely with the General Counsel/CCO to build the compliance infrastructure while contributing to continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities
Support compliance program administration, including Code of Ethics monitoring and quarterly certifications
Assist with regulatory filings and maintain compliance records
Participate in testing, mock exams, and other internal reviews to assess controls and readiness
Research new regulatory developments and implement resulting compliance requirements
Review and organize contracts and related legal documentation
Partner across investment, legal, and operations teams to uphold firm standards
Contribute to continuous process improvements and best-practice enhancements as the firm scales
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
1–5 years of compliance or legal experience in private equity, private markets, or broader financial services
Prior exposure to compliance frameworks, policies, or regulatory filings
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Cultural fit is critical: humble, collaborative, intellectually curious, and eager to grow
