Internal Operations Supervisor

The Internal Operations Supervisor will oversee the operations claims support team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of claims, while also providing operational input on projects and integrations.

Responsibilities

Supervise and guide a team of operations staff supporting claims processes
Monitor workloads, prioritize tasks, and ensure deadlines are met
Provide coaching, day-to-day support, and performance feedback to team members
Ensure accurate entry, validation, and reconciliation of claims of large financial value for control purposes
Act as escalation point for exceptions or complex cases
Ensure operational transactions are complete, accurate, and audit ready
Support internal and external audit requests through documentation (evidence-based support for Claims and Operations decisions) and reconciliations
Promote adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements
Participate in integration efforts or system-related projects on an ad-hoc basis
Provide operational insight to cross-functional teams working on process or system enhancements
Contribute to identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements

Required

5+ years of experience in claims operations, insurance operations, or financial operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity
Strong knowledge of data processing, reconciliation, and audit practices
Proficiency in Excel and operational systems; able to work effectively in a manual environment while supporting automation efforts
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Bachelor's degree preferred
