Senior LevelVibotek LLC is seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB & ITAM Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise configuration management and asset tracking systems. The role involves partnering with various stakeholders to ensure accurate data and governance in a complex IT ecosystem, while also leveraging strong technical integration skills.

Responsibilities
Architect and implement scalable CMDB solutions integrated with IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes
Configure and maintain ServiceNow CMDB, Service Mapping, Discovery, ITAM, and ITOM modules
Develop and maintain dynamic service maps to model relationships between CIs, applications, and business services
Integrate lifecycle data for hardware, software, and cloud assets into the CMDB
Build integrations between ServiceNow and ITSM tools, monitoring systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and SaaS applications
Use automation tools (e.g., ServiceNow Discovery, APIs) to maintain data integrity and accuracy
Establish governance frameworks for CMDB and Service Mapping, including policies, access controls, and data ownership
Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into asset utilization, risk, and cost optimization
Support change and incident impact analysis using service dependency maps
Document processes and provide training on CMDB and Service Mapping best practices
Stay informed on emerging trends (AI/ML, automation, cloud-native services) to enhance CMDB/ITAM capabilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, Governance, and Risk to define and enforce CMDB strategies
Qualification
Required
Deep understanding of ServiceNow modules (CMDB, ITAM, Service Mapping)
Strong technical integration skills
Strategic mindset to align CMDB practices with business goals
Experience in architecting and implementing scalable CMDB solutions integrated with IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes
Ability to configure and maintain ServiceNow CMDB, Service Mapping, Discovery, ITAM, and ITOM modules
