Warehouse Specialist
Base is modernizing the grid as the first engineering-led, technology-driven power company. The Warehouse Specialist will support the efficient operation of the warehouse, handling tasks such as inventory management, operating equipment, and ensuring safety compliance.

Responsibilities
Use ERP software to update work orders and transfer statuses
Track the physical and systematic movement of RMAs
Receiving and Storing Inventory: Receive and inspect incoming shipments of batteries, inverters, and other materials. Record and track items using the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Kitting Job Kits: Assemble job kits based on Bill of Materials (BOM), ensuring accuracy and completeness
Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, including sorting, labeling, and storing materials efficiently
Inventory Management: Perform regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy and address discrepancies as needed
Forklift and Pallet Jack Operation: Safely operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move materials and equipment within the warehouse
Loading and Unloading: Unload pallets from semis and load pallets onto box trucks. Ensure that materials are handled with care and in a timely manner
Manual Labor: Regularly lift between 50-70 lbs, and two lifts for anything exceeding 70 lbs. This requires physical stamina and attention to safety
Recycling: Manage the recycling of materials as needed, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and maintaining a clean workspace
Hotshot Deliveries: Occasionally perform onsite hotshot deliveries, driving to various locations to deliver materials on time
Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures when operating equipment and handling materials
Qualification
Required
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift 50-70 lbs
Ability to operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Must be comfortable with manual labor and working in a physically demanding environment
Preferred
Experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or logistics preferred
Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management System) is a plus
