They are offering a co-op program where students will develop simulation software while gaining real-world experience, specifically supporting the Physics team on the Design Business Unit.

Responsibilities
Work alongside software developers to design, implement, and debug
Investigate defects in production code
Engineer simulation features
Develop UI toolkit components for internal and external customers
Infrastructure process and tools. - Improve the efficiency and accuracy of ANSYS products
Qualification
Required
Dedication to three (3) semester rotations for Engineers and two (2) semesters for Computer Science
Pursuing a BS in Computer science, Computer engineering, Mechanical engineering, Aerospace engineering or related technical field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to university after the completion of the co-op program
Exposure to C++, C#, Java or Python
Sharp and tenacious problem solving skills
Preferred
Exposure to object-oriented programming
Previous coding experience
Exposure to CAD and/or FEA
Strong math skills or exposure to writing algorithms
