Responsibilities
Facilitate and elicit customer business requirements
Develop, analyze, and document requirements, including business, functional and non-functional for simple and complex efforts
Develop customer-focused documentation for software solutions (e.g., wireframes, use cases, business rules, etc.)
Implement, by means of system configuration, relevant aspects of the customer’s requirements
Perform and support testing and/or training efforts
Participate in system design and configuration activities
Collaborate closely with customers, technicians, and managerial staff
Communicate with third-party vendors and/or partners to address questions, issues, or requests
Assist in the estimation of work
Stay current on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
7+ years' experience in business analysis or related field
Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance domain experience
ConceptOne and/or other MGA Policy Administrative systems experience
SQL queries and data analysis experience
Understanding or experience with Relational Databases
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions
Strong time management including work planning, prioritization, and organization
Ability to manage multiple priorities or tasks
