Responsibilities
Own projects from start to finish — from scoping requirements to release and post-deployment monitoring in production
Collaborate closely with product and leadership to understand business goals and translate them into robust technical solutions
Lead by example by writing clean, well-tested, maintainable code that meets established standards
Work to detailed specifications , ensuring all required functionality is captured, tested, and resilient across both sunny-day and rainy-day scenarios
Monitor production releases , proactively identifying anomalies, regressions, or unexpected behavior before they escalate into issues
Communicate clearly and consistently about progress, blockers, and trade-offs, keeping both technical and non-technical stakeholders aligned
Mentor and support peers through thoughtful code reviews, guidance, and constructive feedback
Contribute to architecture and design decisions , balancing performance, maintainability, and delivery speed to ensure long-term platform health
Qualification
Required
7+ years of professional experience in back end software development, with a strong focus on PHP
Expertise in at least one modern PHP framework (Symfony preferred)
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture principles
Experience with RESTful API design, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT), and API versioning
Experience designing, building, and maintaining applications on AWS (ECS, ECR, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
Experience with Python and multi-language service architectures
Deep understanding of MySQL or other relational databases
Extensive experience with Docker and containerized environments
Familiarity with DevOps workflows, including builds, releases, and deployments across multiple environments
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
