Responsibilities

Management of land/site development projects, including technical design, quality control, and project management
Business development activities and assignments concentrated in a specific target area
Project client interface
Financial management of projects
Working with the team to set goals to meet business objectives
City of Houston and/or Harris County design process experience required

Qualification

PE in TexasBS in Civil EngineeringCivil/site development projectsTechnical design backgroundLocal design codes knowledgeCommunication skillsOrganizational skills

Required

PE in Texas, or ability to obtain license within 12 months of hire date
BS in Civil Engineering (MS a plus)
4+ years of relevant project experience (5-8 years of experience strongly preferred)
Experience managing civil/site development projects
Experience leading the civil design efforts for public works or site development projects
Sound technical design background
Excellent communication, verbal and written, and organizational skills
Thorough knowledge and understanding of local and U.S. design codes and standards
