The Electrodiagnostic Tech-Advance role involves performing diagnostic neurophysiological and cardiovascular testing to assist in the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of neurological and cardiac conditions, while ensuring the smooth functioning of clinical operations.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic neurophysiological and cardiovascular testing to assist in the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of neurological and cardiac conditions

Conduct digital electroencephalograms (dEEG) to evaluate brain activity and electrocardiograms (EKG or ECG) to assess heart function

Provide assistance and/or may lead and train lower-level employees

Design and implement clinical programs, policies, and services using specialized knowledge and skills

Lead daily operation activities

Required

Graduate of an accredited formal medical education program such as CVT, EMT, Paramedic, Radiography, Respiratory Therapy, Sonography, or Associate's Degree or greater in a Health Sciences related field

Clinical patient care experience, 2 years or more strongly preferred

Must be employed as a 0.5 FTE or greater to advance or maintain status of CIS 3 or 4

American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support certification required

Maintains certifications in ACLS and PALS

Board certification in ARRT (CI), (CV), (VI); or RCIS, RCES; or IBHRE required

Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100lbs

Ability to wear lead aprons for extended periods of time

Preferred

Radiography Technician preferred

A new employee with greater than 12 months experience in a level 1 trauma center or comparable experience may enter as Clinician 3 with expectations, at manager's discretion
