Responsibilities

Interpret, summarize, and understand complex wills and trusts written in all 50 states
Be able to articulate complex estate planning and administration concepts in an understandable way to colleagues
Lead calls with client advisors, internal compliance, and legal
Manage the new contracting process after a client death while coordinating with internal contracting and billing teams
Participate in internal and external marketing efforts
Interact with client attorneys, tax advisors, and corporate fiduciaries

Required

Bachelor's Degree and Law Degree Required
5 plus years of experience in estate and trust planning and administration
Understanding of core concepts of estate planning and administration required
Strong team orientation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure
Self-motivated and able to work in an autonomous, yet collaborative environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity
Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred

Experience with fiduciary income tax return preparation and estate and gift tax return preparation a strong plus (Note: This position does NOT require tax preparation)
Familiarity with directed trust and delegated trust models a plus
Basic understanding of the fiduciary investment process helpful
