Responsibilities
Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications
Analyze and interpret blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods, formulas, and measuring instruments
Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, and work for conformance to specifications
Record inspection or test data and quantities inspected or graded
Mark items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status
Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
Analyze test data and make computations necessary to determine test results
Inspection of undercarriage parts in assembly operations and inspect components
Qualification
Required
Highschool diploma or GED with 2-5 years' experience
Inspection experience
Use of simpler tools like calipers/ micrometers
Microsoft office experience
Team Player
Self-Motivated
Eager to learn
Detail Oriented
Ability to openly communicate quality issues and nonconformances to others
Good interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of interdepartmental teammates and cross functional team members
