Responsibilities

Perform Preventive Maintenance and services of Hologic products (mammography, digital mammography, bone densitometry, and mini c-arms) which include electrical, mechanical and software components
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the equipment database to include the inventory, performance assurance (PA) schedules, nomenclature, and service history
Ensure that equipment is in compliance with MQSA, state, and federal guidelines
Build and maintain customer relationships
Discuss equipment status and functionality with clinicians
Perform periodic inspections of current inventory status
Verify the completion of security analysis for new customer equipment
Performs Incoming Inspections (II) to maintain a complete and accurate inventory of medical devices, including trial and evaluation, rental, and loaner equipment in addition to permanently assigned equipment inventory

Required

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required
Associate's degree Associates of Applied Science in Biomedical Technology, Electronics, Information Technology Management, or related field Required
Successful completion of military BMET training Required
5 Years Servicing diagnostic imaging systems, preferably in hospital setting Required
Valid Texas driver's license with acceptable driving record Upon Hire Required
Completion of Networking + Foundation Course 2 Years Required
Specialized formal training certification Upon Hire Required
Ability to understand operational procedures, test procedures, and project management
Ability to perform detailed work and multitasking, and the ability to document all work performed according to established policy and procedures
Detailed oriented and have strong organization skills, maintain working relationships and networking with end users of medical devices and vendors

Preferred

Hologic Equipment With Experience Is Preferred
Basic understanding of MQSA and ACR requirements are preferred
Networking Experience Preferred
IT-ILC - IT Infrastructure Library Certification 2 Years Preferred
Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET), Certified Laboratory Equipment Specialist (CLES), or Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES) Upon Hire Preferred
