Qualification

American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsCertified Medical Radiologic TechnologistCPR certificationRadiology experienceMedical terminology knowledgeLeadership capabilitiesTeaching capabilitiesEffective communication

Required

High School Diploma or equivalency
Able to read, write, type, and perform calculations at a level generally acquired through completion of high school plus six months or less training beyond high school
Able to prepare reports and keep records
Able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other members of the health care team
Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
Familiar with medical terminology and departmental supply items
Licensure/Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
State Department of Health - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist
Basic Life Cardiac Support
Graduate of an approved school of Radiology
Currently licensed in the state
CPR required, advanced life support certification required
One year experience required intra-operative setting
Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities
Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position
Active state license and ARRT license required upon hire
American Heart Association BLS certification required
