Responsibilities

Lead trial preparations and strategies for civil litigation cases
Represent clients in court as first chair during trials and hearings
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with expert legal advice
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies
Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes
Collaborate with junior attorneys and paralegals to ensure efficient case management

Required

Barred in GA
5+ years of experience in trial defense
Proven experience as first chair in civil litigation, particularly in insurance defense cases

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously
