Responsibilities

Provide primary care services to adult patients 18 years of age or older with specialization in HIV/AIDS or SUD treatment and management

Diagnose and manage complications and co-existing conditions such as hepatitis, cardiovascular disease, and metabolic disorders

Supervise and mentor residents in an outpatient setting

Lead didactic sessions, case discussions, and hands-on clinical training focused on HIV or SUD care, infectious diseases, and primary care for high-risk populations

Provide comprehensive chronic disease management for chronic conditions such as but not limited to diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia

Conduct routine health screenings, vaccinations, and mental health assessments to support whole-patient wellness

Work closely with other providers, pharmacists, case managers, and social workers to provide holistic and integrated care
