The Engineering Lead will lead engineering efforts for a new line of business, acting as a CTO, and will be responsible for developing technical roadmaps, recruiting a team, and executing significant technical projects.

Responsibilities

Lead the engineering efforts for a new line of business

Own engineering's domain model of the business

Work with design and product to scope incrementally shippable product experiments until product market fit is achieved

Develop a technical roadmap to support scaling, stability, and new features

Work with the platform team to determine how your product's needs should be reflected in platform roadmap

Recruit and hire a small, tight-knit team to execute on your roadmap

Identify, scope, and execute significant technical projects contributing to the build-out of your line of business

Initially assigned to the platform team to spin up on our tech stack and way of working

Demonstrate the ability to ship and build relationships with engineering and business leadership
