Responsibilities
Prospect and research potential leads or target accounts
Initiate outbound calls to introduce Cloudflare products/services
Qualify leads based on interest, budget, authority, and fit
Build relationships and rapport with potential customers
Develop in-depth knowledge of Cloudflare offerings
Manage and update CRM with accurate information
Collaborate with the sales team to hand off qualified opportunities
Meet or exceed set targets and KPIs
Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions
Provide regular reports and insights to managers and fellow team members
Qualification
Required
6–12 months of professional experience, ideally in sales, business development, or outbound prospecting
Experience with the Canadian market is a plus
Proven ability to meet and exceed targets
Basic understanding of computer networking and how the internet works
Motivated self-starter with strong communication and follow-up skills
Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams
Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, or Salesloft is a bonus
Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable handling objections
Eagerness to grow into future sales roles at Cloudflare
Quick to learn technical concepts and industry terms
Ability to travel within and outside the U.S. and/or Canada as needed
Preferred
French language is a plus
