Responsibilities

Designing and implementing data systems with both web and database components
Analyzing and maintaining existing databases and web interfaces
Adding new features to operational systems
Implementing signal processing and other algorithms with efficient software
Testing with real data
Providing applications to front-line customer facilities
Creating effective user interfaces and data visualization tools
Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and methodologies
Experimenting with new technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into RRC projects
Working across all functional areas: systems engineering, development, integration and test, deployment and O&M
Proposing improvements to applications and frameworks
Working unsupervised with minimal direction
Self-starting

Required

Degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Proficient in modern software engineering practices for testability and readability
Proficient in C++ and Python in LINUX environments
Proficient in SQL and/or NoSQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML
Demonstrated ability to design software systems to ensure they achieve functionality, performance, scalability, and maintainability requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance
US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED

Preferred

At least 3 years' experience in software engineering-related discipline
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks including Vue, React, Angular
DevOps and Cloud computing Experience (Gitlab, CI/CD, CVE mitigations, Docker, Kubernetes, PIP)
Agile development processes
Current TS/SCI clearance
US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
