Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of Commercial Real Estate documents including but not limited to purchase and sale agreements, leases, and financing documents
Assist with handling trust and business accounts
Preparing closing documents and assembling post-closing binders for clients
Manage administrative tasks such as client payments, managing received mail, and through record keeping
Organize and maintain all case files, including indexing/filing documents
Opening new files and filing documents throughout each transaction
Maintain Client contact throughout the transaction process
Manage complex commercial real estate matters
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information questions and requests
Qualification
Required
8-15 Years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal handling closings, leases, and financing
Associate's degree or Paralegal Certificate is required
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience with Commercial Real Estate closings
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Preferred
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to the Commercial Real Estate area is preferred
Knowledge in document management system iManage and billing system Orion is a plus
