Responsibilities
Perform all technical procedures within the respective modality sections as described in the Radiology Policy Manual
Meet the technical competency requirements for the position
Maintain an effective working relationship with all staff
Participate in professional education programs, patient/staff safety initiatives, and quality assurance/ improvement activities
Qualification
Required
Documented training and experience in radiography
Current BLS certification
Current Massachusetts BCEH Computed Tomography (Full/General) license or ability to obtain registered certification within 12 months of hire and prior to the expiration of a temporary license
Current Massachusetts BCEH (Full/General) license in Radiography and/or Nuclear Medicine and/or Radiation Therapy, or ability to obtain registered certification within 12 months of hire and prior to the expiration of a temporary license
Current ARRT registered certification in Computed Tomography with RT(CT) designation or eligible for ARRT certification
Current ARRT registered certification in Radiography and/or Nuclear Medicine and/or Radiation Therapy, or eligible for ARRT certification
Imaging acquisition, processing, reviewing, sending, and retrieving equipment (hardware and software)
Hospital information system equipment (hardware and software)
Communication equipment (e.g., fax, telephone, email, etc.)
Preferred
Documented training and experience in CT
