The intern will cover various news and feature assignments, making photographs and videos, editing them, and collaborating with the editorial team.

Responsibilities
Make informative and visually compelling images on deadline for daily stories
Transmit photos and videos remotely
Contribute accurate, concise, typo-free captions and additional reporting
Collaborate closely with editors and reporters in the field
Qualification
Required
Juniors, seniors, or recent grads with prior experience at a college news publication or professional news organization
A strong online portfolio featuring still photography and video
Keen attention to detail and strong news & ethical judgment, and an ability to work effectively under deadline pressure
A current driver's license and car, or be willing to take ride-shares or public transportation
An interest in and enthusiasm for local & community storytelling
