Senior Creative Producer

Hearst Magazines, specifically WMUR, the ABC affiliate in Manchester, New Hampshire, is seeking a Senior Creative Producer to craft promotional content across various media platforms. Responsibilities

Produce, write, shoot and edit compelling on-air promos and image campaigns from start to finish that generate viewer interest to increase the brand awareness and ratings for all multi-platforms
Use research and apply sound brand strategy to develop and execute creative concepts via on-air news promos, station image campaigns, original content, and graphic design
Provide clear messaging to audience for station and client’s brand
Organize, oversee, and execute projects from concept through delivery, directing and supervising video editors, sound editors and on-air announce talent and frontline video editing
Create, update, and enhance station on-air image, entertainment promos and graphics- this includes daily program episodes for air
Produce and execute community outreach events, including on-air promotion and event planning/execution
Assist with street team vehicle and events
Hands-on editing and online editing supervision
Contribution to brainstorms across all departments
Direct and collaborate with video and audio Editors, Graphic Designers, Project Managers and VO talent
Supervise projects with outside promo production companies as needed
Partner with Digital and Social team to develop creative extensions for Facebook, Instagram and other platforms
Partner with Marketing Strategy team to develop off-channel messaging for select projects
Foster collaboration with departments throughout the company

Required

3 years of experience in TV/PRODUCTION content creation environment via broadcast, cable, trailer house and/or an ad agency
Must be able to distill broad creative concepts into an abbreviated and effective promotional approach
Experience with Adobe applications such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop a must
Possess a strong creative perspective with experience at a cable or streaming network
Knowledge of on-air promotions systems, network television operations, and the television marketing and promotions industry
Experience supervising all aspects of promo production including edit and VO sessions, audio mix, the implementation of graphic design elements and delivery of finished assets for air
Knowledge of production process including linear and non-linear editing
Proficient in videography and lighting
Demonstrated ability to write compelling, conversational copy
Strong image and promotion writing skills
Work well under extreme deadlines
Willing to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines

Preferred

Drone certification is a plus
Related military training and experience will be considered
