Responsibilities

Lead and mentor 3 small teams of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment

Allocate resources effectively across several projects and products, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality support

Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices within the DevOps team

Oversee the creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps in a highly-available production environment

Manage and support deployments to Kubernetes clusters, including the creation and updating of Kubernetes manifest files, Docker files, and Docker builds

Oversee the development and maintenance of automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to support highly-available production environments, participate in code review

Ensure effective monitoring and logging using systems such as ElasticSearch, Prometheus, Grafana

React on alerts, create incidents, create awareness, gather resources to work on resolution of critical events

Required

5+ years of DevOps experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role

Proficient in Windows and Linux Administration

Experience in creating and troubleshooting CI/CD in a highly-available production environment

2 years of experience supporting deployments to Kubernetes clusters in a highly-available production environment

2 years of development and support of automation scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Python

1 year of troubleshooting experience using logging and monitoring systems (ElasticSearch, Graylog, Grafana, Azure Application Insights)

Experience with DNS records management and certificate management in a highly-available production environment

Experience using and troubleshooting Ansible/Terraform playbooks
