Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and automated systems. Use PLCs, ladder logic, and HMIs for fault resolution
Maintain and support automated production equipment including robotics, conveyors, sensors, actuators, and control systems
Execute scheduled maintenance on heading, threading, painting, packaging, and automation equipment
Assist with setup, installation, commissioning, and improvement of equipment using schematics and technical manuals
Support alignment and tooling adjustments during changeovers. Provide operator support during runs
Maintain air compressors, lighting, water systems, and perform facility inspections
Accurately complete work orders, downtime logs, and maintenance records. Communicate repair timelines with production leads
Track usage of tools and parts; request reorders to avoid downtime
Work with production, engineering, and quality teams. Train operators in basic troubleshooting and equipment care
Participate in root cause analysis and support equipment performance enhancements
Follow OSHA standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety policies. Participate in safety programs, audits, and corrective actions
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance
3+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, ideally in fasteners or metal forming
Strong skills in automation, PLCs, ladder logic, and control systems
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic systems
Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Skilled in minor machining or fabrication
