Propulsion Functional Safety Software Engineer

Responsibilities
Create, implement, and validate the software algorithms that ensure our products meet Ford’s implementation of ISO26262
Ensure the functional safety of the electrified powertrain torque path and prevent safety goal violations
Deliver clean, understandable code that is traceable to requirements and test procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Master of Engineering (preferred degree)
Experience with ISO26262
Ability to create, implement, and validate software algorithms
Attention to detail in delivering clean, understandable code
Ability to ensure traceability to requirements and test procedures
Experience working collaboratively across departments
