Responsibilities
Lead or support engineering teams in producing high-quality, well-coordinated civil and environmental project designs
Manage and coordinate all aspects of multidisciplinary projects of varying complexity
Prepare design documentation, including criteria, technical memorandums, reports, drawings, design packages, and cost estimates
Provide strategic and planning support to clients
Review and guide the work of junior engineering staff
Manage project execution, including scope, budget, schedule, quality, safety, and client expectations
Develop and maintain client relationships and participate in marketing, contractual, and design meetings
Uphold QA/QC standards across project deliverables
Support and conduct internal staff training
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Environmental or Civil Engineering (or related field) from an ABET-accredited program
Alternatively, a Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Civil, or related Engineering Technology with successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
Minimum 3 years (4 years preferred) of environmental engineering experience, ideally in consulting
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Experience with construction oversight and knowledge of construction methods and procedures
Willingness to travel (approximately 10%)
Strong understanding of standard civil engineering principles and practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to interact effectively with clients, regulators, and team members
High attention to detail, with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant engineering software
Preferred
A Masters degree in Environmental Engineering may substitute for one year of experience
4 years of environmental engineering experience, ideally in consulting
FE/EIT certification preferred
