Business Director - Elevate Product (EPX)
Capital One is a financial services company, and they are seeking a Business Director for their Elevate Product (EPX) team. Responsibilities
Work closely with leaders in Product and Tech to develop and pilot processes, tools, and templates for building innovating products at Capital One
Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for rolling out and continuously improving the Product Development Process at Capital One
Coordinate with the Learning & Development team to integrate these elements into Product College trainings and resources
Lead 1 or more direct reports and work with cross-functional teams
Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory demands
May manage and develop multiple analysts. Coaching and mentoring associates with a goal of developing and retaining talent at Capital One
Partner with Product Managers, Design and Engineering to build the best products for both Capital One and its partners
Coordinate across the line of business to manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the product strategy. Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently
Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including: Tech, Product, Design and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability
Be a tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to business
Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. He/she should be able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment
Drive critical decisions, hold business partners accountable, and be able to consistently deliver results
Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment. Previous consulting experience is a plus
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
At least 7 years of experience in analysis
Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity: Be a tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to business
Strong executive communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Clear results orientation: display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. He/she should be able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment
Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment. Previous consulting experience is a plus
