They are seeking a Cybersecurity / Infrastructure Engineer Intern to work with a team of engineers to solve challenges in securing complex systems and environments, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

Work with team members to secure both classified and unclassified environments to the same stringent security standards

Assist in hardening Linux operating systems and network devices to comply with security policies

Support the implementation and monitoring of physical security controls within a controlled laboratory

Contribute to vulnerability management and patching efforts

Participate in other relevant intern tasks as assigned within the classified lab

Required

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program with a major in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, firewalls, and network protocols

Basic knowledge of Linux operating system security principles

A desire to learn and work in a fast-paced, classified environment

All applicants must be able to obtain/maintain an active U.S. security clearance
