They are seeking a Machine Maintenance Engineering Technician responsible for performing complex maintenance functions, creating preventative maintenance programs, and assisting in equipment setup and installation.

Responsibilities

Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on production equipment

Be responsible for various feeder repairs and modifications

Be responsible for some tool room work

Assists in machinery and line moves and equipment set up and installation

Assist engineering with process issues

Make changes in equipment processes

Performs other duties when required that are outside of normal job duties

May be asked to assist in other duties to ensure production needs are met in a timely manner

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and have a strong electrical or mechanical background

A working knowledge of automated manufacturing, experience with SMT or Auto Insertion equipment

Ability to read in English and accurately interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to employees and supervisors

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent

Must have Universal RAD/VCD and Fuji SMT experience

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Ability to operate pallet jacks and hand trucks

Ability to operate a computer and use word processing, spreadsheet, and database software

Ability to qualify for and obtain a fork lift operators license
