As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will support the design and analysis of bridge structures and transportation infrastructure under the supervision of experienced engineers.

Responsibilities
Assisting in the review and verification of standard structural design calculations
Supporting the structural analysis and design of bridge components using engineering software tools
Helping develop preliminary design details using CAD software and providing input to CAD technicians for contract plan development
Contributing to design reports by compiling relevant technical information
Communicating effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, in a professional engineering environment
Reviewing and checking engineering drawings under the close supervision of a Senior Engineer
Gain exposure of structural analysis and design software such as LUSAS, RISA-3D, LEAP Bridge, AutoCAD, and MicroStation
Learning and applying relevant design specifications and standards, including AASHTO, AREMA, AISC, and ACI
Qualification
Required
Working towards BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited College or University
Communicating effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, in a professional engineering environment
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
Gain exposure of structural analysis and design software such as LUSAS, RISA-3D, LEAP Bridge, AutoCAD, and MicroStation
Learning and applying relevant design specifications and standards, including AASHTO, AREMA, AISC, and ACI
