GED or High School Diploma

1-2 years - Building maintenance or central plant operations

Must have the ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Must have the ability to inspect equipment or systems and to identify conditions requiring correction

Must have a working knowledge of common hand tools, general safety, blueprints, schematic diagrams and able to interpret instructions

Must have a basis working knowledge of electricity and distribution systems

Must have the ability to perform basis mechanical, carpentry and plumbing repairs
