Responsibilities

Ensure that the company’s loan application growth targets for the Partner Channel are met
Drive strategic initiatives, projects, and processes in collaboration with the VP, Business Development
Refine and own the business development pipeline and forecasting for new opportunities
Develop relationships with new strategic partners and other growth opportunities
Oversee and own all aspects of onboarding and training for new strategic partners
Work closely with leaders from Partner Success, Sales, and Lending Operations to better enhance and grow the Partner Channel
Own the continuity and quality of engagement between Strategic Partners and all SmartBiz Staff

Required

Experience in managing strategic partnerships
Strong understanding of business development and sales processes
Ability to drive growth through the development of loan referral opportunities
Experience in onboarding and training new partners

Proven track record of meeting growth targets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
