Starwood Capital Group is seeking a Fund Accounting Summer Intern to participate in the accounting of real estate and energy infrastructure investments. The role offers a unique learning experience with project responsibility and the opportunity to work closely with senior management and various stakeholders in the investment industry.

Responsibilities

Assist with preparation of financial statements
Preparing accounting reconciliations
Preparing and reviewing waterfall schedules
Assist with coordination and review of property level reports from Starwood Asset Management
Assist with complex quarterly consolidation of investment funds, including fair value GAAP adjustments
Assist with preparation of debt covenant compliance reports
Assist with preparation of special reports and other ad hoc projects

Required

Strong academic background, preferably in accounting (a focus in finance is a plus)

Authorization to work in the United States
Must be a 2027 college graduate
