Responsibilities
Solicit and consolidate requirements from sensor engineers for algorithm evaluation, behavioral modeling, data quality analyses, outlier analyses, and factory data analysis tools. Develop and maintain these tools/codebases/pipelines and consolidate common blocks
Manage and analyze data from user studies to identify key behaviors and establish relevant dependencies
Produce / present meaningful data visualizations to the team
Evaluate the impact of design choices on engineering metrics; propose trade-offs; and communicate the results and insights to cross-functional teams
Maintain simulation code with best software engineering practices, optimize and refactor codebase when necessary for performance and readability
Use developed code to predict system/user performance across a range of operating conditions including HW/FW settings, user physiology, ambient conditions, etc
Qualification
Required
Experience writing, debugging, and maintaining computer simulation code with strong software development skills, with proficiency in Python
Experience developing data analytics systems for early-stage projects to help team learn about unknown dependencies
BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
Preferred
Experience with unit test development
Collaborative and willing to work in cross-functional fast-paced technology development
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field with 2+ years of relevant hands-on experience
