Responsibilities
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing systems engineering team, including hiring, performance management, and professional development. Guide junior and senior engineers in MBSE best practices, ensuring knowledge transfer and inclusive collaboration
Develop and implement systems engineering strategies that align with company goals, including roadmaps for product innovation, system architecture, and integration of families of unmanned systems and munitions
Champion systems engineering practices and Cameo Systems Modeler to create, manage, and refine system models. Oversee the definition, enhancement, and verification of system requirements using MBSE methodologies
Direct comprehensive data analysis, troubleshooting, and risk mitigation efforts across projects, leveraging analytical skills to resolve interdisciplinary challenges
Partner with R&D, manufacturing, program management, and external stakeholders to ensure system synergy, participate in design reviews, and facilitate technical meetings
Drive product line innovation, evaluate emerging technologies, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality in systems engineering
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of hands-on experience in model-based systems engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role
Deep expertise in unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), aircraft, and/or munitions, including system design, integration, and testing
Advanced proficiency in Cameo Systems Modeler
Proven ability to lead diverse teams, mentor staff, and foster an inclusive, collaborative environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with experience in high-stakes, deadline-driven projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
Experience with Group 1-4 UAS systems engineering
Certification in Systems Engineering (e.g., INCOSE CSEP)
Knowledge of US DOD Weapons GRA and WOSA
