Responsibilities

Develop a clinical practice site at an affiliated institution or community pharmacy for the experiential education of SOP students
Contribute to the didactic teaching load of the Department, including the development or maintenance of course materials
Active service on committees of the School or University, and service as a faculty student advisor, as assigned
Scholarly contributions to the discipline and profession

Required

Pharm.D. degree from an ACPE Accredited School of Pharmacy/Institution
Unrestricted license to practice Pharmacy in the State of Georgia, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to build successful relationships with student populations
Outstanding conflict resolution skills
Demonstrated time management and detail-oriented skills
Computer-based skills (i.e., software, analytical, and report writing skills)
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret accreditation criteria, state agency regulations, and academic journals
Ability to resolve inquiries and complaints from employees, students, regulatory agencies, or members of the academic or Pharmacy Community

Preferred

Postgraduate residency and/or fellowship training in a specified therapeutic area or equivalent experience
Prior teaching and research experience in the relevant field
Experience with computerized administrative systems. Must be proficient with the use of standard office applications on personal computers
