Responsibilities
Performs diagnostic CT procedures
Corroborates patient's clinical history with procedure, ensuring information is documented and available for use by the radiologist
Prepares the patient for procedures, providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety
Selects and operates imaging equipment, image capture devices, and accessories to successfully perform procedures
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited radiography program
ARRT Radiography registration required
IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required if working in Illinois
WI-DSPS radiographer license required if working in Wisconsin
Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
Preferred
ARRT Computed Tomography registration preferred (or must be obtained within two years of hire)
