Gas Pipeline Integrity Program Manager
Northeast Ohio Gas is focused on the safety and compliance of natural gas distribution and transmission systems. The Gas Pipeline Integrity Program Manager will develop and implement integrity management programs, conduct risk assessments, and analyze pipeline integrity data to ensure regulatory compliance and improve asset integrity performance.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement integrity management programs (IMPs) for both distribution and transmission of natural gas assets in accordance with 49 CFR Part 192
Conduct pipeline risk assessments to identify high-consequence areas (HCAs) and prioritize segments for inspection, monitoring, and remediation
Analyze integrity assessment data including in-line inspections (ILI), leak surveys, cathodic protection, and direct assessments
Support pipeline repair and replacement strategies based on assessment findings and asset risk profiles
Coordinate with GIS, Operations, Corrosion, and Compliance teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline integrity records
Apply industry standards to support safe, reliable design and operation decisions
Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation to demonstrate compliance and support regulatory audits
Provide support during incident investigations, root cause analysis, and emergency response activities
Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure Hope Utilities remains compliant and forward-looking in its approach to pipeline integrity
Participate in capital planning and prioritization of integrity-related projects and investments
Qualification
Required
In-depth understanding of pipeline integrity principles across both distribution and transmission systems
Knowledge of applicable federal regulations (PHMSA, DOT) and experience interpreting codes and standards (ASME, API, NACE)
Familiarity with integrity assessment methods including ILI, direct assessment, hydrotesting, and leak detection
Strong data analysis capabilities; proficiency with Excel, GIS systems, and integrity data management tools
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Proven project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
Collaborative team player with a safety-first mindset and a focus on continuous improvement
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, project management, business management, or related field – AND - At least three (3) years of pipeline integrity, compliance, or closely related role, with exposure to both gas distribution and transmission systems
High school diploma or equivalent – AND - At least eight (8) years of pipeline integrity, compliance, or closely related role, with exposure to both gas distribution and transmission systems
Preferred
Field experience with pipeline inspection, maintenance, and/or construction
