Responsibilities
Architect and implement database solutions supporting enterprise applications and analytics
Develop data models, schemas, stored procedures, and ETL pipelines
Optimize performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning
Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives
Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams on integration and sustainment
Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity and RMF standards
Document engineering processes and configuration baselines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
7+ years of experience in database engineering or development
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
Experience with data modeling tools and performance tuning techniques
Familiarity with DoD data security and RMF requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
U.S. Citizenship without the need for sponsorship
Preferred
Master's degree or certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate
