New Grad, Entry LevelClair Global is seeking an Accounting Associate who is detail-oriented and responsible for preparing, maintaining, and processing accounts payable and receivable. The role involves entering vendor bills, preparing accounts payable checks, and managing customer invoices.

Responsibilities
Enter and review vendor bills
Code expenses to the appropriate G/L account and allocate expense between entities
Review or seek approval for invoices
Review vendor bills for sales tax or apply use tax as needed
Prepare accounts payable checks & reports
Review customer invoices for sales tax as appropriate
Enter customer invoices, send payment links and invoices to customers
Post payments to customer accounts
Follow up on late payments and collections
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
General accounting knowledge
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel
Ability to work with accounting information for multiple entities and multiple locations
Highly organized and high attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills and customer-service orientation towards both internal and external customers
Preferred
Formal accounting education preferred
