Employer Receivable & Pension Accounting Manager
CalSTRS is Hiring! The CalSTRS Accounting Division is seeking a motivated individual to work as a Financial Accountant I on the Employer Accounts Receivable team. The role involves managing billing processes and improving collection methods to ensure accurate financial operations.

Responsibilities
Manage the new and developing employer and state billing processes for CalSTRS under the Employer Accounts Receivable (EAR) unit
Design, develop, test, and implement new billing and collection processes
Collaborate with the Benefit and Services Branch to produce accurate and timely billings to Employers and the State
Improve on existing billing and collection processes
Conduct on-going risk assessments that could impact pension accounts
Qualification
Required
Training, supervision, and management experience
Experience reviewing and assessing internal controls with relation to billings and collections
System development or process development experience
Knowledge of the State Controller's Office Revenue processes, regulations and policies
Experience utilizing SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning software
Strong organizational skills, ability to set priorities, effectively manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines within challenging and strict time constraints
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all levels of staff and management
