They are seeking a part-time AR/AP Specialist responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and reconciling transactions.

Entering invoices

Processing spare parts orders

Entering and reconciling credit card transactions

Qualification

Required

Minimum two years of experience in a small office environment

Strong bookkeeping/accounting background required

Experience and knowledge of QuickBooks is a must

Prior A/R and A/P experience a must

Work with minimum supervision, be a self-starter, and perform quality control on his/her work

Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)

Experience with managing finance tasks

Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Attention to detail and confidentiality required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Basic accounting principles understanding and applied knowledge

Highly organized and attentive to detail

Able to work with confidential and proprietary information

Good attitude with the ability to be self-motivated and work as part of a team

Preferred

Prior experience with government contracts

BA in Accounting/Finance or related 2 or 4-year college degree -OR- Associate or comparable education with exceptional, strong, and demonstrated experience

Excellent record-keeping and documentation-keeping skills

Quick learner, highly motivated, self-starter, and eager to learn
