$15.50/hr - $17.97/hrThe City of Lenexa is looking for a responsible and safety-focused Part-Time Lifeguard to oversee the daily operation of the Lenexa Rec Center pool. This role ensures the safety of all patrons, enforces pool regulations, and maintains high training and maintenance standards.

Responsibilities
Supervise and ensure the safety of all pool patrons
Respond to emergencies with lifesaving techniques, including CPR, first aid, and water rescues
Maintain lifeguard training standards by attending required in-service trainings
Provide excellent customer service while enforcing safety policies and procedures
Assist with daily facility setup, cleaning, and pool maintenance
Complete required reports and records, including incident reports, first aid logs, and daily operation logs
Perform routine safety inspections of the pool, deck, restrooms, and surrounding areas
Perform minor maintenance on equipment or report necessary repairs
Follow all safety, sanitary, and organizational regulations
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 16 years old
American Red Cross Lifeguard with Water module (or willing to obtain before the start date)
This certification includes First Aid/CPR/AED certifications
